Malleotrain by Bauerfeind is a knitted ankle support incorporating an anatomically contoured silicone insert lying posterior to the medial and lateral malleolus and over the front of the foot. Used to reduce swelling and soreness.

Indications:

Chronic swelling and soreness due to past injuries, acute swelling and soreness, grade II sprains- slight ligamentous tears, post-cast, post-ankle fixation, degenerative joint disease, synovitis

point of measurement: circumference at the narrowest point of the ankle.
